2022-21: On Sep 8 China Post issued a commemorative stamp entitled The 120th Anniversary of Beijing Normal University. Beijing Normal University (BNU) is a well-known university for teacher education, educational science and basic disciplines in sciences and humanities. BNU grew out of the Education Department of Imperial University of Peking established in 1902. In 1923, its name changed to National Beijing Normal University, the first Normal University in China’s history.

Designed by Yu Tong, the stamp takes the emblem of BNU as its main body as well as the main building of BNU. It uses fine circular lines around the emblem to represent teaching in tune with the times. The stamp used offset intaglio printing technology, is printed by Beijing Stamp Printing House Company Limited. Denomination is 1.2 yuan and is 33 × 44 mm with 13.5 perfs. Scott 4921.

2022-22 October 3rd: Four values in a set featuring pavilions. Each stamp has a face value of 1.2 yuan. All were designed by Jiao Yang and printed using photogravure by Beijing Postage Stamp Printing Works. The stamps are 30mm x 40mm and perfed 13.5 Scott 4923 - 4926

22-1: Zhichun Pavilion, 22-2: Shuiliu Yunzai Pavilion, 22-3: Wanchun Pavilion, 22-4: Shuanghuan Pavilion. Scott 4923 – 4926. Each sheet has 12 stamps, 22-1 and 22-2 in Sheet 1; 22-3 and 22-4 in Sheet 2. Each sheet is 180 x 150 mm.

2022-23 Oct 16: China Post issued a set of two commemorative stamps and one souvenir sheet for the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The design of the first stamp is "Forging Ahead on the New Journey", the second "Making Contributions in the New Era", and that of the souvenir sheet "Celebrating the Opening of the 20th CPC National Congress". The denomination of the single stamps is 1.2 yuan, the sheet has a value of 6 yuan.

The first stamp depicts farmers, medical workers, engineers, professors and young parents with children in their arms. It also shows the Tian an men rostrum, modern urban and rural landscapes, clear waters and green mountains, and graphics representing electronic chips and big data. The second stamp depicts people from all walks of life taking the oath under the Party flag, together with the Monument to the People's Heroes and the Museum of the Communist Party of China. The souvenir sheet features the Party emblem, red flags, the Great Hall of the People and people of all ethnic groups in celebration.

This set of stamps was collectively designed by the Central Academy of Fine Arts and printed by Beijing Stamp Printing House Company Limited with photogravure technology. The stamps are 40 x 30 mm perfed 13 x 12.5. The souvenir sheet is 82 x 57 mm with perforation of 13.5 x 13. Scott stamps 4927 – 4928, the sheet is Scott 4929.

2022-24 October 22: China Post issued two stamps and a souvenir sheet featuring Traditional Medicine. The stamps are valued at 1.2 yuan and the sheet at 6 yuan. Stamps measure 50 x 30 mm and the sheet is 86 x 125 mm. Stamps are perfed at 13 x 12.5, the sheet 13 x 13.25. Stamps were designed by Liu Jingui and printed using offset by Henan Provincial Post Printing Works.

2022-25 November 5: An issue for an animal most of us know and perhaps wish we did not: Pigeons. Four different pigeon species on four stamps with a value of 1.2 yuan each. (Some might say that is too high a value for pigeons.) Stamps were designed by Zeng Xiaolian and printed using offset by Liaoning Provincal Shenyang Postage Printing Works. Stamps are 50 x 30 mm and perfed 13.

The stamps feature images of 25-1: Columba rupestris Hill pigeon>, 25-2: Columba palumbus Common wood pigeon, 25-3: Columba leuconota Snow pigeon and 25-4: Columba hodgsonii Speckled wood pigeon. Scott 4933 – 4936.

2022-26 November 5: China Post issued a set of five commemorative stamps entitled The National Parks. The designs are respectively the Three-River-Source National Park, the Giant Panda National Park, the Northeast China Tiger and Leopard National Park, the Hainan Tropical Forests National Park, and the Wuyishan National Park. Each stamp has a face value of 1.2 yuan.

By implementing the national park system, China aims to maintain the primitiveness and integrity of natural ecology, protect biodiversity and ecological security, and preserve precious natural assets for future generations. With a protected land area of 230,000 square kilometers in 10 provinces, the five national parks are home to nearly 30 percent of the key terrestrial wildlife species found in China.

On the left side of each design is the representative landscape of the corresponding national park. Encircled by a ring of perforations are some representative animals, on the right some representative plants. The designs as a whole highlight the gorgeous natural landscape and rich ecological resources of the five national parks.

This set of stamps is co-designed by Ma Lihang, Liu Bo and Yin Xiaofei, printed with photogravure technology by Beijing Stamp Printing House Company Limited. On each stamp, the circular part encircled by perforations is printed with colorless orange fluorescent ink, which makes the picture of wild animals more vivid under ultraviolet light. Stamps are 70×35 mm, perforations are 13 × 13.5. Each sheet contains 12 stamps. Scott 4937 – 4941.

H-17 November 15: Two stamps anticipating the New Year. One is at 1.2 yuan, the other at 3 yuan. The stamps are round with a radius of 15mm inside a square frame. Perforation is 13.5 with 20 in a sheet. The designer was Shi Yuan, printed by photogravure at Beijing Postage Stamp Printing Works. H-17-1 is entitled Welcoming the Year of the Rabbit and H-17-2: The Five Blessings Arriving together. Scott 4942, 4943.

2022-27: On December 25, China Post issued a set of four commemorative stamps entitled China’s Space Station. The pictures of the stamps are named as Space Transport System, Space Science, Extravehicular Activities and Home in Space. The stamps are designed in a se-tenant form, and take dark blue as the dominant hue, reflecting the mystery and vastness of space.

The first stamp is called Space Transport System. It shows a Long March 5B heavy-lift rocket in the foreground, and in the background the three types of rockets used in launching manned spaceships, cargo spacecraft, the core module and other modules during the construction of the Chinese space station, as well as a ship and a radar for Telemetry, Tracking and Command ( TT&C) and a return capsule of the TT&C satellite.

The second one is Space Science. It presents in the form of icons different types of space science experiments such as life science, microgravity combustion science, space astronomy and astrophysics. The third one is Extravehicular Activities. It depicts two taikonauts entering space to carry out extravehicular activities. The fourth one is Home in Space. It takes the Chinese space station circling the earth as the main body and presents the vast and boundless space.

Stamps are 52x38mm, perf 13x13.5. Th printer was The Anti-counterfeit and Secret-keeping Technology Printing Company of Henan Province using offset printing. Scott 4944 – 4947. Scott also lists a souvenir sheet of eight, four of each design at 4947a.
